Your Role
Irreversible is looking for a digital circuits designer to join our team. In this role, you will work with other engineers and scientists to design, adapt, and test core circuits for cutting-edge low-power AI processors to enable next-generation edge AI applications.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds in physics, computer science, mathematics, and engineering to design architectures for a new generation of low-power AI processors
Develop and verify RTL models for core components of AI processors, ensuring thorough documentation at each step
Optimize designs for area, power, and timing through synthesis and place-and-route methodologies
Conduct high-level functional and performance verification using industry-standard tools and techniques
Contribute to the development and refinement of digital design flows and methodologies
Provide support for post-silicon validation and debugging efforts
Contribute to crafting reports, drafting patents, preparing technical documentation, and attending conferences
What You'll Bring
A bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical/electronics engineering, physics engineering, or a related field
Experience in digital IC design
Proficiency in RTL coding (e.g., Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL)
Understanding of digital design principles, including timing analysis, power optimization, and clock domain crossing
Familiarity with EDA tools for synthesis, simulation, and verification (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, or equivalent)
Communication and technical documentation skills
Experience with scripting/programming is an asset
