Your Role
Irreversible is looking for an Analog Integrated Circuit Designer to join our team. In this role, you will work with other engineers and scientists to design, adapt, and test core analog components for cutting-edge low-power AI processors to enable next-generation edge AI applications.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds in physics, computer science, mathematics, and engineering
Design and develop analog integrated circuits from concept to layout for low power AI processors
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications and architecture;
Perform circuit simulations, validation and optimization
Contribute to the development and maintenance of software models
Conduct design reviews, verification, and documentation throughout development lifecycle
Assist in silicon testing, debugging, and post-silicon validation
Contribute to crafting reports, drafting patents, preparing technical documentation, and attending conferences
What You'll Bring
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering Physics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Experience in analog IC Design
Demonstrated expertise in transistor-level CMOS circuit design and simulation
Proficiency with IC EDA tools (e.g. Cadence, Synopsys, or equivalent)
Understanding of IC layout constraints and requirements (matching, proximity effects, parasitics, etc.)
Familiarity with IC fabrication processes
Knowledge of Verilog-A/SPICE modeling
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Communication and technical documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively and interact with team members from diverse technical backgrounds
Nice-to-haves
Experience in electrical device and circuit characterization, and/or CMOS chips characterization, and/or device-level parameters analysis
Experience in operating test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, source-measure units, and/or parameter analyzers
Experience in developing and running scripts for data acquisition and analysis using Python or an equivalent programming language
Knowledge of statistical methods for data analysis and presentation
